Ken Wills
Ken has three decades of experience as a reporter and editor, spanning newspapers, financial wire services, and a streaming video news platform. A native of Milwaukee, he began his career at The New York Times after receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Columbia University. A one-year Asian Studies fellowship at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa changed his life. He went on to spend 15 years in Japan, Singapore, and China as a journalist, primarily for Reuters and Bloomberg. A decade ago, he returned to Hawai‘i and runs a farm on the Big Island. He currently serves as the Managing Editor at Hawaii Business Magazine.
